SKI TRIP TO MESSILÄ SKI CENTER
DOWN HILL SKIING ** SNOWBOARDING ** SLEDDING ** CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
**SNOW BLADING**HORSEBACKRIDING
Please hand in the slip (and money) to your classroom teacher at the latest Friday 15.2
- Tuesday 26.2.2008.
- Buses leave 8.15 from POINT and arrive back at POINT at 16.30.
- Younger grades (1st,1/2nd,2nd and 3rd) will come back at 15.30.
- Everyone should be at POINT 8.10 at the latest, (10 minutes earlier if you have your own equipment).
- Buses leave Messilä Ski Centre at 15.30.( 1st,1/2nd,2nd and 3rd at 14.30)
- Everyone should be in / beside the bus 15 mins before the bus departure.
- Actual skiing time 10.00 – 15.00. (14.00 for younger grades)
- Lunch is dealt out 11.30-12.00 at the bus.
- Students can take extra food and drinks with them if they feel it is needed. Valuables (such as MP3 etc), are brought at the students’ own risk. We recommend that you leave them at home!
- There will be no eating or drinking in the bus!!!
- Make sure you are dressed appropriately for your event.
- Make sure you have the exact money for ski rental etc. This is to be paid directly to the rental service at Messilä.
- Lift and bus ticket = 26 euro, bus ticket only = 14 euro, to be returned to your class or homeroom teacher with the completed slip below (we have to pay for this as one group).
- Rent for downhill ski/snow blades, boots and poles = 12 €.
- Rent for snowboard and boots = 19 €.
- Rent for cross-country skis = 10 €.
- Rent for helmet = 2 €.
- Horseback riding, only for experienced riders (with Sanna Manner) ??€
- Lessons from Messilä staff = 10 €/hour (min. group size = 4) To be paid directly to the instructor.
- Students should NOT attempt a new sport without qualified tuition!
- Students unable to attend will have an alternative school day at POINT
